Michael Slate Show

Thursdays, 6am to 7am (PST)

On this program, you’ll hear some of the most radical, provocative and farseeing analysis in the country today. Offering an in-depth look at the critical and cutting-edge issues of the times, it’s where revolutionaries, scholars, journalists, artists and everyday people who care about finding the truth and changing the world have a platform for their voices and their ideas. It’s revolutionary radio that digs into the world as it is and how it should be and could be.

Michael Slate is the host and producer of The Michael Slate Show and has been a correspondent for Revolution (formerly the Revolutionary Worker) for over two decades. He has reported from the townships of South Africa during the 1980s, and Los Angeles following the 1992 L.A. Rebellion. He has also covered the Chiapas Rebellion in 1994 from the mountain towns and villages of southern Mexico and in 2005 he traveled to Sri Lanka to report on the aftermath of the tsunami in south Asia. Since 1995, Slate has frequently written articles on film, music, theater and visual arts.
